Santa Cruz Naturals welcomes you to our first annual Halloween Party! Enjoy a full bar, appetizers and live local music by: The Mermen and Blue Light Riders. The evening will also include a costume contest with $1,000 in prizes! Come dressed in your spookiest, most creative costume! Tickets are limited. We expect to sell out so get your tickets now! This is a 21 and over event.
The Mermen - The Mermen are an American rock band from San Francisco, California that formed in 1989. The group’s sound was originally rooted in instrumental surf and psychedelic music of the 1960s. Although their music delves into many genres, the sound is non-commercial and is mainly influenced by the band’s founder, songwriter and guitarist Jim Thomas’ modern melodic visions. During live shows, Mermen songs often morph into lengthy improvised variations on a theme -a la the Grateful Dead- with new pieces of music created on the spot.
Blue Light Riders - The Blue Light Riders is a 5-piece Santa Cruz based Americana Rock Band formally founded in 2018 after several years of informal rehearsals, gigs and sessions with its members. Playing high energy psychedelic rock, funk and soul from the late 20th century, the band delivers captivating and danceable music with soulful vocals, driving guitars, rich keyboard tones, and grooving bass and drums.

Costume Contest – With $1,000 worth of prizes why wouldn’t you sign up? The Costume contest will be held around 9, in between the two bands. Sign-ups for the contest will be at the event. Prizes include:
- $500 Grand Prize for best overall costume (Most impressive overall)
- $250 for Best Homemade Costume (not bought at Spirit two days ago)
- $250 for Crowd Favorite (Elicits the biggest reaction from the party attendees!)
All costume contest prizes are to be redeemed as points at Santa Cruz Naturals. Points are used the same was as cash and can be used to purchase products at our locations.
